Ever since the collapse of the Gate, Earthlings have been trying to reach Eve any means necessary to see if the colonies survived. Few have successfully made it and even fewer have made it back to Earth. The Earthlings, who made it initially to see if the colonists could substain themselves, suffered just the same as the colonists. Then they watched as the races we know today survive and thrive. Centuries later, they still are making the trek. In order to keep hidden, the successful ones have blended into the races of Eve spreading their influence as well as keeping Earth aware of what's going on in New Eden.
